Randy and Sherry Vinson started Advance Building Supply, Inc in 1988, running it out of their home and a small garage while Randy was still doing new construction home building and remodeling. They began by getting a few accessories here and there for other contractors in Sedalia. In 1994 they made the move to their old location on Anderson School Road. Building a 3000 square for warehouse and running the office out of the basement of their home.
